A model following the design spirit of the watches of the 1960s and a tribute to Girard-Perregaux’s technical advances in the field of chronometry, crowned by the Neuchâtel Observatory Centenary Prize. The 1966 Lady Moon phases pays homage to the Manufacture’s commitment to watchmaking excellence and its loyalty to the codes of elegance. Gently hand-polished white mother of pearl or flinqué silver dial. Roman numerals at 12 o’clock and polished “baton-type” hour-markers. Leaf-shaped hour and minute hands. The small blued steel second hand (cradled by a delicate sun-shaped counterweight) dances around the moon phases indicator. As a last feminine detail, a discreet face lends its personality. Reliable in-house manufactured movement made of 237 components. It remains faithful to the famous Calibre 3000.
