Favourite #6 : The Submersible QuarantaQuattro eSteel

Submersible QuarantaQuattro eSteel™ Grigio Roccia
Panerai Submersible QuarantaQuattro eSteel™ Grigio Roccia

More and more brands are going green (meaning sustainable development). This is the case of Panerai with its Submersible eSteel. This steel, made of 52% recycled materials, is used for the case and it’s a first for the Submersible collection. The brand has also modified the bezel from stainless steel to a polished ceramic inlay that perfectly matches the colour of the dial. And to close the loop (of the strap), the latter is made of recycled fabric.

Favourite #7 : Chopard and its trilogy

Ding, ding, ding, ding... the eternally crystal-clear chiming for Chopard's new trilogy called The Sound of Eternity. Three models to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the L.U.C collection: the L.U.C Full Strike Tourbillon, the L.U.C Full Strike Sapphire and the L.U.C Strike One. A range of watches worthy of the name.

L.U.C Full Strike Tourbillon

Pink gold, a guilloché gold dial, a new L.U.C 08.02-L certified chronometer movement and, most importantly, a tourbillon in the limited space of a minute repeater calibre from the Manufacture, such is the feat created by Chopard. A new technical prodigy measuring 42.5 mm with an extremely accomplished level of finishing that has earned it the Poinçon de Genève quality label. Limited to 20 pieces, this exceptional timepiece sets the tone!

Transparency is king with this new model which, as its name suggests, is entirely made of transparent sapphire. A 360° view that gives the opportunity to discover an exceptional minute repeater and a certified chronometer calibre L.U.C 08.01-L comprising 533 pieces. The latter is one of the House's most sophisticated calibers: five patents (no less!) have been filed for this movement, which strikes the hours, quarters and minutes on transparent sapphire crystal gongs. A true horological musical instrument limited to five numbered pieces. Can you hear this totally clear sound, unique in the world?

No fewer than 275 components bearing the Poinçon de Genève label power the new L.U.C 96.32-L movement, a certified chronometer. This sophisticated 40mm timepiece, in ethical pink gold, displays a perfect purity of sound at the precise moment when the minute hand reaches 12 o'clock. One note and love is guaranteed.

Favourite #8 : The Kodo Tourbillon by Grand Seiko

Grand Seiko Kodo Constant-force Tourbillon
Grand Seiko Kodo Constant-force Tourbillon

In Japanese, Kodo means "heartbeat". Well, that's all it took for our palpitations to start beating very fast when we saw the brand's first mechanical complication! This tourbillon is a remarkable piece with a monobloc constant force mechanism rotating on the same axis. The inner carriage of the tourbillon rotates smoothly while the balance wheel vibrates regularly at eight beats per second and the outer constant-force carriage follows its rotation at exact intervals of one second. A feat never seen in the history of watchmaking that offers an unprecedented level of stable precision. When innovation meets precision, it creates a dazzling watch!

Favourite #9 : The highlight of the J12 Tourbillon

Chanel J12 Diamond Tourbillon Watch Caliber 5

A solitaire that turns, that turns without ever stopping, to the rhythm of each second, this is the new J12 Diamond Tourbillon timepiece from Chanel. Equipped with the first Manufacture flying tourbillon movement, Calibre 5, this piece with its graphic lines is simply majestic. It is available in matt black ceramic and steel or in glossy ceramic and 18K white gold, limited to 55 pieces. A hypnotic movement that transcends you and takes you on a journey out of space-time.

Favourite #10 : The Integral Ceramic by Hublot

Hublot Big Bang Integral Ceramic
Hublot Big Bang Integral Ceramic

Our latest favourite is Hublot's Big Bang Integral Ceramic collection. Nothing better than these colours to start the spring season off, right? Available in four variations, beige, blue, sky blue or green, this watch is made of integral ceramic from the strap to the case. This limited edition of 250 pieces (per colour) houses the HUB1280 calibre which supports a one-hour chronograph and a subtly skeletonised date display in the sub-dial at 3 o'clock.
