More about Audemars Piguet

Audemars Piguet ranks among the great trilogy exalted by Swiss Haute Horlogerie alongside Patek Philippe and Vacheron Constantin. For more than 125 years, the house, still in the hands of the founding families, combines performance and style. In 1875, Jules-Louis Audemars and Edward-Auguste Piguet, both from watchmaking families, decided to combine their passion and watchmaking know-how to found a company that created and manufactured watches with complications. Since then, the company continues to innovate to push the technological limits, but also to surprise and amaze. Audemars Piguet will prosper with innovations, with increasingly sophisticated and ultra-flat movements. At each stage of its history, the Manufacture has been able to integrate avant-garde technologies, anticipate trends and magnify them by associating them with the ancestral watchmaking art where the eye and the hand are the very essence of the profession. The works created by Audemars Piguet are among the finest and most famous watches in the world. It emanates from these timepieces a great nobility, a mastery of complications and a craftsmanship. The catalog of models bears great complications, such as the perpetual calendar or the minute repeater. The Royal Oak, the first series of luxury sports watches in steel, is the brand's most iconic watch. Presented in 1972, it undeniably upset the world of luxury watchmaking.
