Here is a Universal Genève Polerouter Date, reference 204610-7, dating from the 1960s.

Its 34 mm stainless steel case houses a beautiful silver sunburst dial with a date window at three o’clock. This piece retains many original elements: the hands with luminous tips, the signed crystal with a date cyclops, and the caseback still clearly showing the period UG logo. The serial and reference numbers remain easily readable under magnification.

This collector’s watch is powered by the Universal 218-2 micro-rotor calibre with 28 jewels. It beats at a frequency of 18,000 vibrations per hour and offers a power reserve of approximately 57 hours. This Polerouter Date is fitted with a new brown Saffiano leather strap.
