Description
Here is a collector’s Breitling: the Vintage Chronomat, reference 769, featuring the “Brevet 217 012” inscription on the dial, a patent registered in 1940 by Willy Breitling.
Its 36 mm stainless steel case houses a well-preserved black dial, framed by the model’s signature markings and the characteristic rotating bezel/disk. The dial and hands are both in excellent condition. The watch displays two sub-dials dedicated to the chronograph function, along with the large red central chronograph hand.
Inside ticks the renowned Venus 175 calibre, a hand-wound chronograph movement with 17 jewels. It beats at 18,000 vibrations per hour and offers a power reserve of approximately 45 hours.
