The Radiomir 10 Days GMT - 47 mm takes up the essential features of a watch that has become Officine Panerai's most classic model, conceived and produced three quarters of a century ago exclusively for military use, and whose technical characteristics have now been extended: not just one but two time zones, a ten-day power reserve and, above all, a top-of-the-range movement entirely designed and manufactured in the Officine Panerai Neuchâtel factory.

The stainless steel case of the 47 mm Radiomir 10 Days GMT, with its classic ‘cushion’ shape, is water-resistant to 10 bars (approximately 100 metres). To guarantee water-resistance at its most sensitive point, it retains the screw-down crown, which is truncated cone-shaped, as on military models, for easier time-setting. The 47 mm diameter is also inherited from the series that equipped the frogmen of the Italian Royal Navy, but despite its size, the watch fits perfectly on the wrist. One of the watch's special features is its removable threaded lugs, patented by Officine Panerai, which can be quickly detached from the case middle to change the strap.

The dial has been enriched with new indications compared to the models of the past, but it retains both its traditional graphic layout and its sandwich structure, designed to ensure, by means of the large quantity of luminescent material deposited between its two levels, a high level of visibility.
