The new Stratoliner Reentry Edition draws its inspiration from the most intense moment in space travel: reentry into Earth’s atmosphere. As a spacecraft slams into dense air layers at over 25,000 km/h, friction generates temperatures exceeding 1,600 °C. Only precise engineering and heat-resistant materials can withstand this brutal phase intact. That very spectacle of physics is captured in the dial of the Reentry Edition. Each dial is individually crafted by hand: first, the titanium is compressed under high pressure to create a dense, resilient surface. Then, it is exposed to open flame in a controlled process. The titanium reacts with a unique range of colors – glowing copper, metallic violet, deep blue shadows, and occasional scorch marks – turning every dial into a one-of-a-kind work of art. No two are alike. Every watch is unique. Titanium was chosen deliberately. Other materials showed issues with magnetization during testing. Titanium remains stable, ensuring peak precision – especially in technically demanding environments. Inside ticks the proven Werk 17 – a rugged column-wheel chronograph developed in close collaboration with the Swedish Space Corporation. Tested during high-altitude flights and rocket missions, it delivers 60 hours of power reserve and unwavering reliability – on Earth and beyond. To further underscore the uniqueness of each piece, we’ve engraved “ONE OF A KIND” on the caseback – a visible sign of individuality and artisanal excellence.
