The Manufacture is the last independent Geneva watchmaking brand still in family hands. It combines the latest technologies and traditional watchmaking know-how to create its models known to be innovative and prestigious watches. Antoine Norbert de Patek, a Polish soldier who took part in the Polish rebellion against Russian rule, settled in Switzerland. In 1839, he founded with the watchmaker François Czapek "Patek Czapek & Cie". Having different views, Czapek leaves the House and the company becomes "Patek & Cie". It was in 1851 that the company was renamed "Patek Philippe & Cie" with the arrival of the French engineer Adrien Philippe. The latter, creator of watches at Versailles, is also the inventor of the winding system and setting time without a key. The House is gaining its nobility and is quickly propelled to the forefront of the international scene.

The watchmakers of Patek Philippe express all their know-how through mechanical movement of high aerobatics. Patek watches are also pure art objects whose beauty reflects perfection.
