More about Frédérique Constant

Born from a long history of watchmaking passion, the Frédérique Constant brand is an independent family brand. Founded in 1991 by Peter C. Stas and his wife Aletta Bax, the brand has become a benchmark in the field of affordable luxury watches. Its name results from the mixture of the names of the great-grandparents of the owners: Frédérique Schreiner and Constant Stas. Wishing to conquer a large circle of lovers of beautiful watches, Frédérique Constant combines quality with practicality and original design. From 2001, the factory accelerates the pace of its innovations with the creation of new calibres. It creates the first tourbillon with a silicon escapement wheel. As a genuine manufacture, Frédérique Constant produces its mechanical movements entirely in-house using state-of-the-art CNC machines. The fifteen different calibres are developed, manufactured and assembled in the company's workshops in Plan-les-Ouates.
